Blog Exercise 16– comment on your teachers blog

I have posted a comment on Poppy's blog.

Blog Exercise 15– commenting on other blogs

I've commented on Wenjing's and Dantheman's blogs.  For Wenjing's I wrote "I like the mouse, its funny."  For Dantheman's I wrote "Hi there, I' got to say that your background blew me away, its stunning."

Investigative Exercise 1 Blogs

While I found points of interest with all the blogs listed in the exercise, I settled with the Ultimo Tafe Library blog due to its clear similarities with the blogging program we are using for this unit.

Through this blog I could clearly see what I could possibly do with my own blog.  As well as having Tags (Labels) and Archives, it had 'gadgets' such as a link to renew library items borrowed and one to a site called ClustrMaps where it showed how many people who viewed the website and where they were from generally.  This showed me the range of options of what can be placed in the post (I think thats what its called) was more than I realised before.  I also didn't realise that interactive features could be placed in the blog such as the puzzles.

The other blogs had interesting features too, its just that the Ultimo Tafe Library blog made it clearer to me how I could enact these features.
